Scot McKnight reflects upon the growing trend of equating libertarian politics with the biblical world. I'm with him on this: I really love the Anabaptist tradition and resonate deeply with its understanding of the kingdom of God as utterly separate, but I have no problem supporting and seeking a government that will care for the poor.
